Horn Feeds Mill Plein Air 3/3/11

We had a great time. The Horn Feeds Mill buildings were very interesting. The historic Cloisy house is nearby and a couple of blocks south is Pius V church. After we got done painting we visited with the lady in Horn Feeds Mill and petted a really nice old dog named Oscar. One big advantage of plein air painting is you get to meet a lot of nice people. The police drove by about 4 times (but didn't stop) while we were painting so we figure we really need to post our "Artist at Work" signs when we are painting in an urban area. The weather was overcast & fairly warm at first but by the end of painting a chill wind had picked up.

One of our members showed us the http://www.urbansketchers.org/ on his phone.

Plein aire painting next week at about 2:30ish
