MSC resuming St. Peter's sketching schedule

Hi all MSC and artists friends,

As our summer plein air is fast coming to a close it is time to think about resuming St. Peter's sketching schedule. Where did our summer go?! Hope all of you have had time to do some painting including some of the many plein air opportunities. St. Peter's schedule starts out with a sketch session on Sept. 6th followed by a critique on Sept. 13th. Time remains the same, 7-9pm, with a demo or critique on the second Tuesday of the month. Dues remain $85.00 for the year payable the first evening or shortly thereafter. Feel free to invite your artists friends to join us. They are welcome to come check us out to see if they would like to join.

Also keep in mind that Sharon Laynn Wilson Art Center has us scheduled for an exhibit in their educational hallway for the end of October. If I remember correctly, they have room for appoximately 20 paintings. More information forthcoming. They have to be framed using wire hangers....no saw tooth hangers. Size is not an issue. That is how many hangers they have. If we have more than the amount of paintings submitted for the exhibition we will have to figure out a fair way of dealing with the situation. I do not plan on exhibiting leaving room for others to do so.
