Carole is a local artist who is also a member of our sketch club. She gave a fantastic demo of Gelli printing and all of us got to play around with this technique.

The basic steps in Gelli printing are:
- Apply acrylic paint to the Gelli print pad in a smooth layer with a Brayer
- Press something like found objects or stencil onto the print pad
- Remove object or stencil and let paint dry. (Can repeat steps 1-3 multiple times)
- Apply another layer of paint
- Put paper on top. Wait a really long time for paint to dry. Then peel paper off to reveal print.
