A lot of really neat historical buildings. No mosquitoes Yeah! Lots of shade. Nice breeze.
Directions:
- Drexel Avenue to Franklin Library,
- Turn South on road (Schluerter Pkwy) between library and fire station,
- Left on Legend Drive
- Will see sign "Franklin Lions Legend Park Historical Area"
- Park across street in city hall lot
We met the docent and he gave us a tour. He's in one of the historical pictures as a child sitting on a tractor. He told us of activities that might be fun to go sketch; 10/19/24 Open house and Home for the Holidays 11/25/24.
