Covered Bridge Art Studio Tour

The Covered Bridge Art Studio Tour is a 36-year tradition for art enthusiasts. During this free self-guided tour through Ozaukee and Washington Counties, 45 Guild artists from Mequon to Newburg will open their studio spaces to the public.
Thirty-six years ago, this event began as a studio and gallery tour in
historic Cedarburg. Today, it is a unique opportunity for people to get
an up close and personal look at some of Southeastern Wisconsin’s finest
artists and the spaces in which they work.
The colorful Autumn rural drive between locations encompasses farm fields, pumpkin patches, Lake Michigan shoreline, picturesque small towns and even a 1876 wooden Covered Bridge, one of the few remaining in Wisconsin. And to add to the fun, many of the studio spaces are in restored stores, mills and barns. Most of the artists will be creating art during the event. They are always happy to stop what they’re doing to greet visitors, talk with guests about their inspirations and artistic process and sell their artwork to interested buyers.
