Art at the Mill

We are one month closer to the warm months. It may not be too early to think about deciding the art fairs in which you want to exhibit. Art at the Mill is a juried art & fine craft fair to be held on July 23, 2016.  The fair is held outside nestled among the trees and surrounded by historical buildings in the beautiful Richfield Nature/Historical Park (Washington County - Wisconsin.) Would you be interested in applying?

Amenities for exhibiting artists:

  • Ample space between booths
  • Easy pull-up for unloading
  • Reasonable $55 booth fee (before or on 4-1-16) or $65 (between 4-2-16 and 7-1-2016)
  • Low jury fee of $10 (waived for returning artists)
  • Bottled water for each booth (2)
  • Booth reliever
  • Free coffee/pastries during setup time
  • Tickets for historic buildings tour located in the park
  • Friendly staff

The quality of our fair is very important. The number of like exhibitors will be limited to assure a good balance and variety. In fact, we are not accepting applications for jewelry and wood artists as our quota has been filled. For other media, be sure to apply early to improve your chance of selection.

Advertising is also very critical for art fairs.  This event will be widely advertised in print, broadcast & social media and promoted through many local businesses. We want to reach as many potential attendees as possible. Free admission to the fair and the extra benefit of being able to tour historic buildings are attractive factors to encourage attendance.

An application form and guidelines are available at: www.richfieldhistoricalsociety.org.
