FYI:   There is a Jam session tomorrow night at the Jazz Gallery, 926 E. Center St., Milw.  There is no charge but it is encouraged to donate.  $5 seems about right.   You bring your own drink.  Non-alcohol is best since they don’t have a liquor license.   There might be food there.  

 

Art and I are going to attend.   It starts at 7:00pm.   You draw the band, or whatever else you chose.

 

I don’t know much else.  I just stumbled across this and have not attend a jam myself.

This is a non-profit group run by Mark.

The 2015 Biennial IAPS Convention has TWO Juried Exhibitions Artwork accepted into either exhibition will hang during the 2015 IAPS Convention in June 2015 at the Hotel Albuquerque in Albuquerque, NM. This show is free and will be open to the public. Carefully read the eligibility requirements to determine which show to enter!!! Full prospectus information is at ww.onlinejuriedshows.com 26th IAPS Juried Exhibition This exhibition is available to all Artists who are members of an IAPS Member Society. Third Master Circle Exhibition This exhibition is open to all artists who have earned their Master Circle Award by December 2014.  If you received your final points at the 2014 IAPS Webshow, then you should enter this exhibition. You can check the IAPS website to see the list of current Member Societies - www.iapspastel.org Both shows will have their own judge and three jurors and their own awards. The awards ceremony will be on Wednesday June 3, 2015 from 5:00-7:00pm We look forward to seeing your newest, experimental, inspired, and best artwork. Good luck! Deadline is March 1, 2015.

Hello All,

I am happy to announce that I am responding to many requests to expand my weekly classes and offer my Wednesday evening weekly class session again this year starting with the upcoming February class schedule. 

I hope you can join us!

February Class Schedule: 

4 Tuesdays:

February 3, 10, 17, 24

10 AM-12:30 PM

4 Wednesday mornings:

February 4, 11, 18, 25

10 AM-12:30 PM

4 Wednesday evenings:

February 4, 11, 18, 25

6:30 PM-9:00 PM

4 Saturdays:

January 31, February 7, 14, 21

10AM-12:30PM

My weekly classes offer individual mentoring in media of your choice across a broad range of traditional drawing and painting techniques in a supportive group setting. All levels of experience are welcome and encouraged.

I offer a 1 hour complementary painting/drawing demonstration in various media for enrolled students before my Wednesday classes from 9AM - 10AM.

Tuition is $120 per 4 class session. You may prorate @ $30/class if you're unable to attend an entire session, but if you need to miss a class you may make it up during any other class time or carry it over to the next session. My classes run continuously year round other than the times I'm competing in a local or national plein air event or teaching a workshop away from home.
