Hi creatives,
Thanks to those who
have locked in outdoor booth space for this ever-growing monster 'Music
and Art in the Park' event in Mukwonago, WI on Saturday, June 29th from noon-8pm on the river at Indianhead park. We still have room for more artists!!
I apologize to some not interested on this creative
mail list (over 100 now), but still ask that you share this news with
other artists, photographers, sculptors, and any arts vendors, etc., to
consider joining in to display and sell work to anticipated large crowds
of art lovers from this great lake-country region.
With a very solid live and very talented music
venue-- of over 8 performances and visiting guest performers from the
midwest, the opportunity for us to do an art show/sale has huge
potential for all of us.
Again, we will flank the entrance to the park with very
affordable 15'x15' outdoor creative booth spaces for only $25 per
exhibit space. This is not about being juried in, or the expansive
details that usually are required by other major regional art shows.
This is about bringing established creative and new
experimenting talent out to a large community who loves art, photography
and other media- and wants to talk with you, buy your work and know
more about art.
As a professional artist, higher education
administrator, illustrator and igniter--my goal was now to give back and
afford young and aspiring artists and local professionals the
opportunities to display, sell and communicate the needs for arts. And
at a good price that did not discourage them from submitting or being
discouraged.
After the Midnight
Magic venue for some of us and last year's Music and Art in the Park in
Mukwonago, it was clear that we sold and saw volumes of folks--and
were overwhelmed by the sales, the love and volume of interest here for
the arts.
Please contact me directly for more. Great opportunity to network, learn, engage and grow as creatives!!
Hope to hear from you soon.
Best creative regards,
Jim Mac Donald
