Neighborhood Art Fair featuring over 100 vendors
2013 marks the inaugural year of the Neighborhood Art Fair!
The Neighborhood Art Fair was established to showcase and unite
the creative community that exists across Milwaukee by valuing diverse
aesthetics, promoting established as well as emerging artists, and
providing a platform for communication between artists, neighbors, and
communities.
As part of the broader IN:SITE 20-block "Art on Fond du Lac"
initiative, the NAf will find its first home at the Fondy Farmers Market
and will feature art from four Milwaukee neighborhood areas. Every
year, the NAF will be held at a different venue, showcasing art from
different neighborhoods. In 2014, you will find us in Washington Park.
Join us in celebrating Milwaukee and the creative people who live here!

Artists Wanted for Milwaukee Public Library Site-Specific Public Art
Help define the new standard at the
Milwaukee Public Library Eastside Branch with your unique artistic
vision and voice. This new development in the heart of Milwaukee’s
eastside business district will replace the current 1968 structure with a
new library that incorporates the best of 21st Century library design.
Located within a community that values its public library, public art is
an important element in this project and the Library is seeking
Wisconsin artists who have the experience and ability to create
site‐specific public art, in collaboration with the project team, which
reflects the unique history and culture of the neighborhood. The
Milwaukee Public Library is seeking two artists to create works that
will be incorporated into the interior of the library.
