1st Place Other Media: "Player 1" by Kari Tirrell: Great story/composition, great textures, surfaces and color.
2nd Place Other Media: "0.0" by Timur Azaev: Masterfiully done and expressive.
1st Place Oil/Acrylic: "Untitled (Hallway)" by Samuel Preston: Interesting composition, balance, depth and design.
2nd
place Oil/Acrylic: "Wired" by Kathleen Newman: Great story, nice depth,
interesting body language. Spontaneous application and a nice color
plan.
At
Ms. Winner's request, we have an additional award for "Mrs. Bass" by
Jason Sacran: Loved the colors, attitude and expression.
Best
in Show: "It's a Haul" by Lynette Cook: Wonderful story, design and
comp[osition. The light against dark and dark against light makes this a
"large" painting despite it's diminutive size!
