Sanibel Island, Florida Plein Air Workshop 2013, February 17th, 18th, & 19th

from: jwhempel@hotmail.com

Come join us as we set up our plein air easels to explore and paint the extraordinary abundant natural beauty of Sanibel Island. We will have extensive opportunities to capture inspiring views, from the opalescent glow of a beachside sunrise to the sparkling relections of lush bayou waters, then close our painting days with incandescent colors of an ocean sunset. We will include additional optional challenges such as portraying the blazing beacon light of the historic lighthouse, as well as seeing and painting outdoor color and light effects both brilliant and subtle from the posed model.

All levels are welcome, with enthusiastic beginners especially encouraged. All participants will receive extensive individual attention with all instruction geared toward their particular experience and interest.

When: Sunday Feb.17, Monday Feb. 18, and Tuesday Feb. 19 (We will paint from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM with extra optional opportunities to paint sunrise and sunset) You may join us for all the days or part time on any of the dates.

Fee: Workshop fee is $75/day or $200 for all three days

A materials list and itinerary will be sent to those who respond with interest.
