The Artery is a linear park that seeks to embrace and enhance community by reclaiming a former 2.4 mile RxR corridor, with interactive art and edible landscapes in Milwaukee. ARTMilwaukee's ARTbus will be making stops there as well! Wisconsin Ave., as part of a new art residency program organized by ART Milwaukee. The four artists are Sarah Gail Luther, Brad Fiore, Savier Ruffin and Poeschl.  The artist-in-residence program is designed to fill empty storefronts with donated studio and gallery space. The artwork acts to revitalize and beautify a once downtrodden neighborhood while giving free workspace to artists working on a small budget. The the soft opening will be on Gallery Night, Friday Oct. 19.
