July 27th 6:45pm - 9:45pm A Gallery Night After Party at the Pfister Hotel's Imperial Ballroom. 16 artists, 8 giant canvases,  Dj, becoming the bride install by Married in Milwaukee, food/wine tastings, and the Pfister artist in residence Timothy Westbrook come together for a Wedding themed art event. July 27th 9pm-12:30am 2nd Annual Urban Island Beach Party  5,000 friends, 1 island, 1 200lb pig, 1,000lbs of fish, 1 night. live music, art, vendors, kayaking, biking, hula hooping and dangerous lawn games. August 3rd, 12-11pm

PIECE OF THE WEEK Michael Krueger - Mixed medium sculpture & sound  5 Alarm Fire in Riverwest A tragedy struck the neighborhood of Riverwest yesterday when a 5 alarm fire started in the auto garage on the corner of Center and Pierce. This fire quickly spread throughout the building, including the upstairs apartments, artist studio spaces, and galleries. Please support our fellow artists by donating. More infomration can be found on MKEBKE.com. ART Milwaukee, MKEBKE and many others will hosting a fundraiser for our fellow artists and neighbors soon. ART Milwaukee will be donating proceeds from our gallery night after party event, setting up donation buckets and donating 2,500 sq feet of interim studio space to get these artists back on their feet.
