Sargent and Sorolla - Learning from the Masters - 11/18/11 10am - 4pm

John Singer Sargent and Joaquin Sorolla are considered by many to be two of the finest painters of the late 19th to early 20th century. Although known as two of the most accomplished portraitists of their day, they also were extraordinary plein air painters, capturing on canvas gorgeous effects of sunsplashed light and color with bravura brushwork and an elegant eye. Paint along with me as we study in depth the vision and techniques of these two masters of plein air painting.
We have had a great time at previous workshops in the studio. I hope you will be able to join us for this one!
