"Through Rembrandt's Eyes": Learning From a Master Painter

The paintings of Rembrandt van Rijn have been admired ever since his career as an artist began in the 1620's. His portraits and genre scenes depict figures created with such a rich luminosity and an almost magical presence of form, that art historians and artists ever since have been trying to discover his "secret" techniques and materials.

Please join us for an intensive day long exploration of the painting process of our greatest artists. Paint along with James in an in depth study of two of Rembrandt's greatest masterworks to discover how he achieved such extraordinary effects of light, texture, and atmosphere.
