Professional artist and iconographer Christine Jentz of Lumen Christi Art in Brookfield will present on the history of iconography and specifically on Jesus’ monogram (IHS), while guiding participants in creating sacred art as contemplative work. 414-385-5272Participants will be tracing and “gold-filling” Ms. Jentz’s illustration of a filigreed monogram by using a gold pigment pen on vellum paper. The finished product will be ready for framing and can be a beautiful piece for communing with Christ contemplatively.Opportunities to learn from an iconographer are rare.
