Milwaukee Sketch Club at Virmond Park 160517

 Nice cold breeze coming over the bluff's edge. This would be a nice place to paint when it's hot outside.

 Quite a drop to the lake

 Chilly, about 50F, but sunny.

Virmond Park is at 10606 N Lake Shore Dr in Mequon overlooking Lake Michigan, but there is no beach access. The easiest route is to take Hwy 43 to Mequon Road, go east to N Lake Shore Dr, then south about 3/4 mile to the park entrance.

Milwaukee Sketch Club at McCarty Park 5/10/16

 Raining pretty good when we arrived. Also a bit chilly at about 50 F maybe.

 One of our members has an EasyL that you can draw on with erasable markers.

 Geese liked the rain and came quite close

 Painting in the rain. Brr!

 Ducks like the rain.

 Just misting and drizzling now.

This one mother duck was watching over 20 ducklings.

From what I recall it was pretty wet out, but fairly comfortable early spring temperature.
