Plein Air Painting
Wednesdays, July 15 – August 19
10:00 a.m.- 12:00 Noon (six classes /12 hours)

Enjoy the delights of summer painting in the outdoors. Locations will be chosen for ease of accessibility and protection on rainy days. The instructor will assist, guide and encourage each student to grow on their own. This class is open to beginner and above levels. A supply list will be sent with your confirmation. Medium of your choice.

Beginning to Intermediate Watercolor Painting
Wednesdays, July 15 – August 19
1:00 – 3:00 p.m. (six sessions /12 hours)

Watercolor painting can often seem a little intimidating, but all you really need is guidance and patience. We will focus on helping you get more out of this fascinating and addictive medium. You will learn the basics of good composition through use of elements and principles of art. We will be experimenting with many different techniques for achieving textures through experimentation with new artistic approaches. This class is aimed at beginning to intermediate students who want to gain greater knowledge of the medium and continue to grow as a watercolorist. Students will improve through the understanding of color, composition and design. Students will gain knowledge and insights on tips and techniques presented and have a new perspective for watercolor painting. A supply list will be sent with your confirmation.
